We had a busy week last week at Hall Meadow. All afternoon lessons were focused on science week activities. The children were able to take part in a range of practical activities exploring science in action. Some were making slime and others making bread!
Please could I remind all parents that for health and safety reasons, children's hair needs to be tied up. If your child’s hair is able to be tided then it should be for all school activities.
Earrings are only permitted as stud ear rings. These will need to be removed during PE lessons; if they cannot be removed then the child will not be able to take part in PE lessons.
We have a vacancy for a lunchtime member of staff to join our team. If you are interested then please contact the school office.
As a school we are always looking into new ways to improve the curriculum. Staff have received training on Philosophy for Children and Inquiry teaching. I am sure that your children will come home to talk about the changes. We will be holding a parents workshop about this soon.
