Happy Christmas to one and all

The children were amazing in our Christmas nativity, 'The King is Born.' They looked fantastic, sang beautifully, played their instruments brilliantly and also listened really well to the other children. Thank you for all of your support with the children's costumes. they looked fabulous, and we hope you all really enjoyed the performance.

The arrival of real snow last week was very exciting for everyone. The children had some super stories to share about their experiences building snowmen, making snow balls and mark making in the snow.

Thank you for joining with us to sing carols and tell the Christmas story from the bible on Monday afternoon. The children did really well once again.

Thank you for all of your support this term. The children have worked really hard and made fantastic progress. We look forward to working together again next year. Happy Christmas to you all and best wishes for the New Year. The children come back to school on Thursday 4th January 2018.

Home Learning

Once the Induction Period has been completed and the children are in full time attendance they will each receive a booklet of home learning tasks and activities for them to complete on a weekly basis. The most important of which is to read to, and with, your child every day. In addition to this there is a poem to learn to say, sounds and words to recognise and read and a mathematical activity to complete. After Christmas, as the children become developmentally ready, they will each have a small number of words to learn to spell each week.

How you can help!

These websites will help your child to practise skills that they have been learning at school.
