|Newsletter 22 April 2018|
We are really pleased to inform parents and carers that we have now transferred to academy status and are part of INSPIRE Multi Academy Trust. Hall Meadow is extremely proud to be part of this trust along with Kettering Park Infants School, Kettering Park Juniors School and Wollaston Primary School. We are very much looking forward to the future.
SATs and tests
We are now entering the testing period for the school. As a reminder Year 6 SATs tests will take place week commencing 8th May 2017, this will take place during the morning sessions. In May Year 2 pupils will also have their SATs tests.
House team updates
We were very pleased to announce during Friday’s assembly that Diamonds won the values jar for this term. It was extremely close this term and already the jars are filling up for the next term.
Our inter house competition for the summer term will be inter house football. More details will follow.
We will have a new face in the school office for short time. Mrs Mary Herbert will be covering for Mrs Church from 24th April. She will be working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Miss Hargraves will still be in the office every day.
Miss Renshaw will be returning from her maternity leave on 6th June. We are looking forward to welcoming her back to Hall Meadow.
Mrs Pearce will sadly be leaving us in May, we would like to wish her all of the best in the future. We will greatly miss her at Hall Meadow and would very much like to thank her for her commitment, hard work, dedication and support during her time at Hall Meadow. Thank you Mrs Pearce.
Dates for the diary
Summer Uniform when we return to school
Just as a reminder it is the summer uniform when we return from the Easter Holidays.
Please can I remind all parents and carers that if the weather is warm to send the children to school wearing sun cream and with an appropriate hat for break and lunchtimes. These must be plain hats with no logos.
Long hair must be tied up at all times for health and safety reason.
Our policy advises against boys having patterns and lines shaved into their hair.
If ear rings are worn they must be studs and taken out for PE activities.
I really hope that you enjoy the Easter holiday period. We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday 19th April. Please remember that Tuesday 18th April is a training day when we will be holding the parent teacher consultations.
