The Summer show is fast approaching. Children and staff in school are working hard learning lines and songs. Please pencil into diaries the dates for the rehearsal and the show. The rehearsal will be on Wednesday 12th July during the day and the show will be on Wednesday 19th July. Further details will follow shortly.
We are really pleased to share that our community links have been developing. In a recent newsletter I announced that we had been awarded a grant from the Coop for a replacement school hall.
I would also like to thank Sainsbury’s for their support during our SATs week. They kindly donated breakfast for the children during their test week and will always support the school for key events.
We would also like to thank McDonalds (Stanier Retail Park) as they kindly donated Happy meals for the children as a celebration at the end of their tests.

About Our Uniform
Our school uniform comprises the following items of school wear and can be purchased from our chosen providers:

In Summer the children can wear the Hall Meadow logo baseball cap or a plain summer hat.
Uniform is important at Hall Meadow Primary School. It gives us our sense of identity and also promotes our ethos.
Only plain stud ear rings should be worn, these must be removed for swimming and PE lessons or the child will be able to take part due to health and safety reasons. No other jewellery should be worn, with the exception of watches at any time, unless for religious reasons.
Long hair should be tied up using plain blue, black or neutral colour bands. For girls plain simple head bands can be worn.
Shoes should be sturdy and not open toed due to health and safety reasons.
Training days for the next academic year
Please be aware that the following dates have been allocated as training days for the next academic year. On these days the school will be closed to the children.
