Rhyme Rocket Phonics
The younger children in the school enjoyed the lively production from the CBeebies cast of Rhyme Rockets this week.
We welcomed First Officer Ditty and Professor Poet who lead the classes in a performance of rhyme, poetry, song and silliness.
Good fun was had by all.
The School Pebbles
I do hope that you enjoy the new display of our Hall Meadow Pebbles. All members of the school community will be able to decorate a pebble, with something which is special to them. We have some lovely designs and this really makes the area outside the main school office personal.
Parent Governor Opportunity
We have two vacancies for Parent Governors on the school governing body. This is a great opportunity to become involved in the wider life of the school. If you are interested then please express an interest at the school office. Alternatively if you would like to speak with one of our school governors Mrs Clare Dent would be happy to provide you with further information, you can either catch her on the playground or leave your details at the office and she will make contact with you.
Please come along to our first reading event. On Tuesday 26th September at 3pm. Parents and carers are invited to the school to read with their children. The gates will open early on this day and then please come in through the main office and you will be led to your child’s classroom.
We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.
Tuesday 26th September 2017 Come and read with your child from 3pm.
Jeans for Genes
Thank you all for your support on this fundraising activity. The children, as always enjoyed coming to school dressed in their own clothes and we also managed to raise money for such a good charity.
Once we have collated the money I will let parents and carers know how much we have raised.
