Community Event

We are looking for volunteers to help us to varnish our outdoor equipment. A letter has been distributed today with further information. If you are available on Saturday 4 November 11am-2pm. Then please come along.

Harvest Festival

Thank you for the generous donations for our school Harvest Festival. This was an extremely successful event and Home start are very grateful for all of the support which Hall Meadow has offered.

Police Safety Talk

The children really enjoyed the assembly which was led by the local police informing them how to stay safe at this time of the year.

Parent Governors

We have had some interest in the parent governor vacancies. If you are interested we have a pack of information in the school office.

PACT updates

As you are aware PACT are always very active with their fundraising events. Over the last year they have made donations to the school in a variety of ways. We have a new multimedia system in the hall, which if you have attended any of our assemblies I am sure that you will agree is amazing. We have new mathematics resources which the children across the school use regularly and have benefitted their learning and secured skills.

More recently PACT have supported the computing curriculum by purchasing electronic programmable resources which can be used in the classrooms.

Yet again they have also managed to support the school with the outdoor provision by replacing the benches and paying for the labour costs on the Trim Trail.

Thank you so much PACT members and all who support the events.

Sports update

Yesterday our girls took part in a football tournament and came 7th. They were amazing team players and as always we were super proud of them. A big thank you to Mr Palmer and Ms Pallet for taking the girls to this event.

School facilities

We now hire out the school facilities after school and at weekends. If you are aware of anyone who is looking for a venue for a club or event then please pass on the school details. Further information can be provided from the school office.

Please can you make sure that you sign up for Parentmail. We are trying to reduce the costs of paper and are increasing the use of parentmail communication. In particular if you have more than one child at the school you need to sign up for all children as some mail is sent depending on year groups.

Thank you to our children for preparing such a well planned and delivered assembly. The children spoke so well in assembly and we also enjoyed a beautiful dance routine.

Well done!
