‘Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.’
Anthony J D’Angelo
I would like to welcome you all back following, what I hope was a relaxing and enjoyable break for you all.
We had a very busy term and this term looks fit to be even busier. We have a full diary of events in the run up to the Christmas period.
We are working on updating the school website and ensuing that this is as user friendly as possible. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
The children settled into school life very well last term and worked extremely hard. Our school council members are very excited to begin their new roles. I would like to thank all of the children for their work on this and how well they welcomed these new roles.
As a school we have been working really hard to refresh the school learning environment. I am sure that you have heard from your children that we have a new library in the school. I would like to thank Mr Craig and Miss Renshaw for all of their hard work creating the new library. It really promotes the love of reading. In order to celebrate this we will be holding an ‘official’ opening. We have invited our CEO to officially open the library on 7th November and we would also like to welcome parents and family members to this. From 10.30 on 7th November we invite you to come and see our new library and join us for a cake and hot drink. We look forward to seeing you all.
Please can we politely ask, that if you park your car to drop off or collect your child from school, that you are considerate of our neighbours who are, on occasion, finding that their drives are being blocked by members of our school community.
PACT Christmas Fayre:
This will take place on 23rd November 2018 6pm-8pm. PACT will be holding a non-uniform day on 9th November in order to collect prizes for the fayre. Please could donations be handed in to the class teachers. PACT have requested donations for the tombola or sweets/chocolates, drinks or soft toys.
