Children are always at the centre of everything we do. Our curriculum is exciting and engaging, and provides maximum opportunities for intellectual, social and emotional development. Developing good speaking, reading, writing and mathematical skills underpins everything we do in school. The greater curriculum embodies the further development of these themes through immersing children in 'themes' which include other areas of learning such as Science, History and Geography. For example through a study of South America, the children will learn about the Mayans and Rainforests including the impact of both on today's world.
It is important to note that some areas are taught discretely to ensure that the children acquire secure skills and knowledge in a wide range of areas including world religions and French (KS2 only).
