The Trust CEO Gaynor Crute officially opened the new school library on 7th November 2018.

The children are so excited about the new space which promotes our love of reading.

Today we had an assembly by the local PCSO on fire safety during this time of the year. The pupils enjoyed asking questions regarding this and listening to the suggestions from the two officers who came into school. They also talked about celebrating Halloween in a respectful way.

Libby in Year 6 raised nearly £1000 for charity. Libby and her family walked round Wickstead Park 5 times in order to raise money for this cause. She has been sponsored through the just giving website.

We are really proud of Libby for this amazing achievement. Well done.

Following our amazing tea party in the summer to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday some of our children in Apollo wrote to the Queen. We were really surprised and honoured to receive this reply.

What a busy week we have had at Hall Meadow Primary School. We have been busy rehearsing the school show. Every classroom you pass comes alive with the sound of the children singing and dancing. Today was our run through which went extremely well. We are very much looking forward to next week when the children have the full dress rehearsals at the Lighthouse theatre on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

Athena are extremely excited about their upcoming school residential trip to Dukes Barn.

In Iris today they were trying to produce power from riding their bikes, and as you can see they did an amazing job on this.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the Aqua Night again due to the poor weather conditions forecast over the weekend, we have put a final date in the diary for Monday 12th September, thank you for supporting us with this.
