This week we have been learning how to multiply. First, we learnt how to use arrays to draw out the calculation and then we learnt how to use a number line to jump in ‘jumps of.’

We picked this up really quickly and used what we had learnt to solve some multiplication word problems. Some of us even went on to write our own word problems and solve them.

In Literacy, we have been brushing up on our sequencing skills and have looked at the Christian story of Christmas from the bible.
We retold some really fabulous stories, remembering lots of the things we have learnt about writing and most of us really improved our handwriting.
