This week we have begun our new theme all about Jamaica. We have been doing some research in English about the kind of food in Jamaica and have also used our geography skills to look at the map and discover where Jamaica is.
We have been asking lots of questions and using the internet to locate the answers, but have been working really hard on making sure we understand what we read and writing it in our own words to show our understanding. We started making a glossary to show that we understand the new words we are discovering.

In maths, we have been looking at how to use the Bar Model for division and also looking at the relationship between division and multiplication. We re-capped on how to use number lines to calculate multiplication and division and in using more than one strategy, we have learnt how to check if our answers are correct.
We then used what we have learnt to try and solve mastery problems.

In Computing, we have started to learn about how to take good photographs and how to send them from a device to a computer.
