In English we have been learning about Explanation Texts. The cold write was about the ‘Catpus’. A Catpus is a mix between a cat and an octopus. Mrs Green was very impressed with them! We then moved onto analysing the key features of a report and labelled them. We had to think about the impact these features had on the reader and if the report was effective.

In Mathematics we have been using continuing to learn about Place Value. We deepened our knowledge of how to calculate change using formal written methods and estimation to check our work. Then we learnt about the Roman Numeral number system! It was tricky to start but we preserved!

In science this week we have been doing an experiment on gravity. We pick items of our own, and measured the amount of Newton’s using a Force Meter and measured them in grams to compare the weight and mass.
