This week in our topic work we have continued to learn about Britain since 1945. This week the focus was on how Football has developed over the years. We learnt that football skills we sometimes taught by the local Reverend!

Mathematics we have been learning about multiples and square numbers. We completed an investigation into the value and properties of numbers. Then we moved onto recap the chunking method for division. Next week will be learning the method for short and long division.

Within English we have been learning the different language techniques within poetry. We have mainly focused on similes and metaphors this week. When writing our own poems and stories including exciting language techniques we were busy as bees!
