In English we have been doing descriptive writing. We have been writing about an abandoned castle. On Tuesday we were planning our four paragraphs. We included similes metaphors and alliteration! On Wednesday we drafted our descriptive writing. On Thursday we edited our drafts and made it the best it can be.

In maths we are looking at adding and subtracting decimals .We have solved problems with decimals in . We have converted hundred thousand into decimal millions. Some people have looked at decimals on a scale and finding the difference. Some people have found this easy and some people have found this hard.

In History our topic is Castles. We have been learning about the features and how they are used to defend the castle such as : a moat, keep , curtain walls and stone. We have also been creating shields with our own patterns in a group. We did a timeline of when the castles were built which showed the century to give us a clue.
