This week in English we have been continuing the story “The Door”. We have been writing a diary entry about the main character Marty. We have also been learning about suspense. Suspense can go with adverbs, adjectives, verbs and a noun.

This week in maths we are learning about angles and measuring the angle and finding the angle. We have been angles on a straight line and a full circle. We also had a worksheet that got us to measure a straight line and a full circle. A right angle is 90 degrees. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees. A straight is 180 degrees. An obtuse angle is higher than 90 degrees. A full circle is 360 degrees.

Mrs. Perks drew around Owen and now we are making it to Sir Owen into a knight. We have also drawn a castle and when we finished drawing the castle we had to label the parts of the castle.
