Our lead text from this week is ‘Shark in the park’. We wrote about what we could see from our telescope trying to remember to use adjectives. We also wrote a very special letter to someone who is hopefully coming to visit us soon.......depending on which list we are on.

The nativity is in full swing and we are becoming much more fluent and knowing when to speak and move into position. I think there are still a few more missing loud voices. If you find them over the weekend please don’t lose them. We need them for our nativity. We also have most of the costumes in. Please make sure all are in by Monday 3rd December.

In maths we have enjoyed addition games and writing number sentences in our books. Making sure we use the squares in our books accurately. We still have some backwards number formations. Any practise at home will help the children.

We have noticed in the home link diaries the recording of the reading has slipped. It is really important for us as it gives us a guide as too how your child is doing and how their progress develops.

Show and tell: It will be free choice as we’ve noticed some children wishing to share things they have done at home not related to the current show and tell topic.
