We have continued our hard work making sure our Nativity is worthy of a west end show. The children (and adults) have really worked their socks off and on Thursday afternoon we did our dress rehearsal to the rest of the school..........wow!! You are all in for a treat!!!!

In literacy we revisited Shark in the Park and explored the Wicksteed Park website. The children used their knowledge to describe a ride.

We noticed that some of the girls who are wearing tights may need a pair of socks for the shows. If they could keep a pair in their book bags for them to use on our show days that would be fantastic. Thank you to everyone for all the costumes.

Mrs Greasley popped in this week to change the children’s school library books. She will return next week, so if your child has their book at home please make sure they keep it in their book bag to be changed.

We had a very creative afternoon on Wednesday and hopefully the children enlightened you as to why they needed to bring in a fork. They loved making pom poms decorations for our school tree. We have even had independent work at home from Amelia. She wrote some instructions for Miss Gilbert as she wasn’t here when we made them.

If the children have any books at home that have sliding or spinning pictures in them, we would appreciate it if they could bring them to school on Monday 10th December.

Show and tell next will be all about Christmas. Favourite films, stories, family visits etc
