This week in Literacy, we have been looking at and performing our own play scripts. We have looked at different features, using storyboards to help us and even rewrote some to make them better!
Ruby “I liked writing my own play script because got to choose how the scene would be set.”
Amy H “I liked acting out Little Red Riding Hood and I liked that my group worked together.”
Ryan “My storyboard on The Snail and the Whale was fun because I got to draw a story.”
We have also been on a trip to visit the library. We all walked down sensible and were fantastic representatives of Hall Meadow.
Hollie “I enjoyed using the library to find the books I needed about tigers for my inquiry.”
Evie B “I liked our visit to the library. Even though I couldn’t find a book about dogs, I enjoyed having a quiet place to read.”
In Maths, we have been looking at problem solving. We have all worked really hard by being determined and unafraid to face a new challenge.
Lily “I enjoyed our word problems in maths. I found some of them tricky but I persevered and tried not to ask Mr Petchey for help.”
