Literacy with Mrs Spencer we looked at and explored information texts. Mathematics we continued with our adding and learning how to add using simple methods.

History we looked at and discussed (debated) the Republic, Emperor and Kings in Roman times.

Wednesday we had a brilliant morning with Rhyme Rockets - they we so funny but educational. We are going to take what we learnt and use in our shape poems next week 😊

With Mrs Townend in literacy we have investigated the different language devices poets use in shape poems. In maths we have been applying our revised understanding of Place Value in the context of money. We will be making our own twisty cup on Friday to use to help us with our place value and expanded form representation of number.

Science we created spider diagrams about what know and have learnt about the uses of Nutrients in our body including comparing what we need to that of an animal (cat/parrot).

RE - we each had a 'mini' cardboard cut out of a person and created our own collage of 'care' and 'love' including some sentences explaining this. Some super discussions made about how we care and how other people show that they care.
