In History we found out about Boudicca and composed pictures of her.

We enjoyed squishing and squeezing the clay to make a Roman pot – these have turned out great!

We planned and wrote an informa5tion page about the Romans – lovely features and presentation used.

In maths we constructed a 3D shape using straws and blue – tac and it wasn’t as easy as it sounds. We showed great perseverance! Elaine said, “I enjoyed putting straws and blue tac together to make a square – based pyramid”.

In science we began to name bones on our body – we explored our body’s bones figuring out where we thought they were and compared to others’ around the classroom. We also compared our skeleton to that of a dog and fish!

In literacy we enjoyed retelling the myth Theseus and the Minotaur through short drama pieces and on the following day we discussed and explored the idea of inferences by looking at images and another myth Romulus and Remus. We will be taking this further by comparing this ending to another.

RE. We tested our relationships and trust of each other by taking our partner on a blind folded journey through a mysterious land with obstacles.
