On Monday we began to plan our story, learnt how to use paragraphs, conjunctions and adverbs.

In DT this week we have designed our gadget to take into the rainforest, we practised making switches.

In maths we have began to divide using numicon by seeing how many lots of 'x' go into the dividend number.

On Wednesday and Thursday, we boxed - up our plan for our persuasive pieces on bullying ' Stop bullying now!' and we drafted our opening statement and first argument using rhetorical questions, facts and emotive language to grab the reader.

On Thursday afternoon we were very fortunate to be chosen to help Mrs Watts with the outside learning environment.

Isaac, "I had to dig a very large whole in the ground ready for a tree".

Santino and Charley said "we had to put lots of soil in a tyre and fill with some worms!"

You will be able to see from  the lovely pictures that all of the children worked extremely well together to get what they got done in the time they had! Very collaborative and lots of team work skills developed. Well done!

Science we constructed our own fair test, testing the strength of magnets.

Thank you
