Poseidon this week have made our items for our Christmas fayre and our lead learners kindly created some posters for our stall.

In Maths at the start of the week we practised column addition (expanded form) and we have all proven our understanding and learning from place value. In maths at the end of the week we practised division using the grouping method and some of us were able to solve problems with remainders.

In literacy we finished our hot task on story's and began our hot task on persuasive texts about saving the rainforest.

In geography we identified continents, major countries and some famous physical features found in our world using an Atlas and then labelled these on our own blank maps of the world. Most of us remembered our capital letters for these names 😊

In RE we researched charities and presented these to the class and it was nice that some of us really took on board the help that they do by reminding us all about what they remembered on the next day.

Next week in science we are making our own magnet compasses and completing a treasure hunt!

Thank you
