Our theme this week has been about plastic and the impact they have on our global environment, in particular our oceans. We watched a short clip from the Blue Planet which highlighted the effects of plastic in the oceans. We did a waste timeline and created plastic - free lunch box' posters for the school hall.

We also, wanted to help make a difference by writing to Teresa May our Prime Minister about ways in which plastic is dangerous and looking for alternative ways.

We looked at how France celebrate the Easter holiday looking at the 'Bells story'.

On our last day we looked at the Easter story and in particular Palm Sunday and how Jesus was feeling when he rode through villages. We enjoyed the drama performances. Then in the afternoon we made Easter cards and did some mindfulness colouring - colouring in eggs and bunny pictures using art - deco.

Thank your for a great term - see you next term Summer!
