This week in Poseidon we have been scientists and have been testing materials and friction.

Jenessa said, "The whole class was predicting whether some materials would have more or less friction, so we tested a car and labelled them."

George, "The wooden surface had the least friction because it was smoother. The more rough the more friction you'll get."

In maths we have been looking at multiplication facts and the division facts that correspond with these.

Maisie, "We had arrays and had to match the times table and division form them."

Taylor, "We have been sorting groups: 2, 5, 10 and 3's."

In literacy we looked at SPAG: time conjunctions. We have also been retelling the myth of Osiris and Isis through drama using VCOP.

Today, we explored character description.

In music we have practised our Egyotian rap and planned what beat and instruments to use next week.

ICT - programming and solving problems.

George, "We have been making shapes using commands: L, squares and rectangles."

Remember PJ day tomorrow!
