This week in Poseidon class we have been continuing on with our division skills by working through practical activities like: grouping and today, we undertook an investigation where we needed to solve a coding problem using our multiplication and division skills.

In Science we have continued to explore magnets and have been researching and writing books about magnets.

We have finished our class text 'Bill's New Frock' and all wrote great book reviews about the story.

Nearer the end of the week we have completed our hot write tasks on our myths and blew Mrs Townend away with our language and structural detail - well done to you all!

As it is coming up to Christmas we all enjoy a festive topic! So, today we begun looking at the Christmas story and drew illustrations of Joseph and Mary and speech bubbles to capture their feelings - using impressive adjectives.

In the afternoon we got to watch KS1's dress rehearsal of their nativity and it was fantastic! Well done to staff and children alike.

Next week, we are making our nutritious muffins and continuing with the Christmas story theme.
Thank you
