We have had lots of assembly rehearsals this week ready for Monday and the children have worked really hard learning their lines. We look forward to seeing you then!

In the week some of us got the opportunity to go on bike ability for the rest of us, focused on minutes past in our time topic.

On Tuesday, we were all able to swap our library books.

In literacy at the start of the week the children edited and up levelled their poems linked to World War 2.

Later in the week we drafted and edited our newspaper reports based on the outbreak of war and tried to use quotes from Chamberlain's speech. Next week we will redraft these onto newspaper templates.

In maths on Wednesday, we identified angles in shapes.

On Friday we will be starting our sewing for a small DT project ready for our VE day picnic. Remember to dress up in WW2 clothes (1940's).
