At Hall Meadow Primary School, children are taught the investigative skills to help them understand historical events both in Britain and around the world and the impact they have on our lives today. ​

Through studying a variety of historical periods and concepts, they should develop a chronological narrative, from the earliest times to the present day. They are increasingly able to explain the nature of ancient civilisations, the expansion and dissolution of empires; characteristic features of past non-European societies. ​
